The Opportunity:
Role: Consultant – GCC Advisory Services (Remote working with travel to Client location as required)
Are you an analytical, research-driven professional eager to build a career in consulting? This is your launchpad. We’re seeking a talented HR Consultant to join our team working with U.S. companies and banks as they establish their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. This role offers hands-on exposure to GCC strategy,HR operating models, compensation benchmarking, compliance-oriented HR design, and HR technology.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive primary, secondary, AI enabled research on GCC HR best practices, compliance frameworks, and industry benchmarks.
- Contribute to the design of HR service delivery models for GCCs (shared services, COEs, hybrid models)
- Contribute to HR lifecycle process design (Hire to Retire) including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and exits
- Perform competitive analysis and market research to inform compensation design and HR strategy.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting HR technology solutions. Support HRMS configuration and implementation projects (exposure to platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar). Help design data dashboards and HR analytics frameworks
- Assist in drafting HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks tailored to client needs andregulatory requirements
- Analyse labour laws, statutory requirements, and local regulations impacting GCC operations in India
Client Travel
Travel occasionally to client locations across India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, etc.) for needs assessment and stakeholder engagement
Experience & Education Required:
- MBA (HR/Business Administration) with
- 0-2 years of experience in consulting firm
- 3+ years of work experience in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) or Global Business Centre(GBS) in HR functions
Core Competencies :
- Research Excellence: Proven ability to conduct thorough primary, secondary, AI supported research, synthesize complex information, and extract actionable insights
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop logical frameworks
- PowerPoint Mastery: Advanced presentation skills with ability to create executive-level, visuall compelling decks that tell a clear story
- Excel Proficiency: Comfortable working with data, performing analysis, creating models, and building dashboards
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
